Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience, and I do not plan to return. It would have been helpful if the seating and show process had been explained more clearly. From my understanding, the show begins only when all seats are occupied and a chef is available. Better communication regarding wait times would have greatly improved the experience. Thank you for your time, though I wish mine had been valued as well.

My family and a friend went to eat at Mikoto's. Before we even sat down, I asked if they could accommodate two of us that are allergic to shrimp. I was told it would not be a problem and that our food would be cooked in front of us. After we were seated, we ordered our drinks, than ate our soup. My son ordered sushi and we ordered dinner. That is when we found out that they could not accommodate the two of us with shrimp allergies! Samurai and Miyabi's will accommodate people with allergies but Mikoto's did not and would not unless all of our food was cooked in the back! (My friend and I) I asked if they could at least cook the rice and vegetables at the table and the manager said no that all of the food would be cooked in the back! I couldn't understand why they couldn't cook the rice and the vegetables on the grill since those are the first two things cooked. I was upset because we had asked prior to being seated and it was a complete waste of our time! We had to drive across town to eat at another Japanese steakhouse. We gave our business to Samurai and spent over $300 . Thank you Samurai for accommodating your customers and not making us feel punished for being allergic to shr

I ate here last week with my 2 friends and I must say I absolutely LOVED it. The hosts were incredibly nice and humorous especially the dreadheaded one, the server was nice, kind and patient, the chef(I think his name is Jerome), was HILARIOUS. Im allergic to seafood so my available options to eat was cut down and even still there was a wide variety of food to choose from. The chef did an amazing job in terms of avoiding cross contamination. Only thing I would change is not being able to reserve a table for my own little group, I had sat next to this big girl who smelled like she just got done smoking a whole pack of cigarettes, she was loud and her laugh was obnoxious. Outside of that the food and service was so incredible my friends and I are coming back today just because. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for good food and good hospitality!!!

The best takeout deal in town in my opinion, where else can you get absolutely delicious freshly made food for $10 these days? I used to come here weekly when I was stationed at Fort Bragg, recently visited again and eat here a few times and the hibachi chicken with Yum Yum sauce is just absolutely to die for in my opinion. Still rocks. So tasty savory, such a great deal and a good size portion.

Your dining experience depends on the skills and humor of the hibachi chef! The food portions were ample but I would have liked more vegetables and less noodle & rice.
